Eating grasses to show up our faith in God, turning petrol into pineapple juice(for what?!), selling miracle water after church services ... My goodness, why should we lie for God accomplishing funny miracles for people to believe in Him. Hes is who Hes and we are called to testify for what Hes done for us instead of pleading for Him with risks of lies and minds manipulations! Our Lord Jesus Christ is not supposed to be in a court pleading guilty. We arent His lawyers as well! And the Gospel is a sufficient power to save souls no need to help it by lies and fake testimonies. Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come on you: and you shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth. (not only witnesses to the facts of their Lord’s life, cf. Acts 1:22, Acts 10:39, but also His witnesses, His by a direct personal relationship;)#witnessesnotlawyers. As Im used to say in French: Mentir pour Dieu ne fait pas partie de la piété Also miracles are performed to rescue people in their needs not to satisfy our ego, our thirst of being superhuman or stars... After all, les faits sont têtus You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Can we please stop being the big reason people hate Christians?
