Eating lunch at Wendys as a elderly lady guided her husband to the side door. He obviously battled blindness and as she began to open the door he quickly grabbed and said; ladies first while politely opening it for what appeared to be his bride. I watched as they continued through the ordering line chatting away, smiling and the gentlemen kindly paid for the meal. It was an obvious love for one another. Soon after a young couple walked in. The gentleman not so gentle to his lady. A clear compare and contrast entered my thoughts. Though Im not blind I am thankful for Melissa Belgard and her willingness to lead/nurture our family with unwavering love no matter what life circumstances may be. Men hold tight and cherish your bride. Fight for your family in a world w/unforeseen turns. Men rise up. Walk in meek confidence watching healthy Christ-centered couples trail blazing before us. Lean in; learn how they have been successful and I believe you will quickly see that their relationship is fueled by the rhythm of grace found only through Jesus Christ.
