Ecclesiastes 1:13 And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ ... Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. It is only in seeking the Lord that we are illuminated through the quickening power of the Holy Spirit ... John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. God intended life to be awesome. He created Adam and Eve in a perfect environment. All of this evil came as a result of man’s rebellion against God. God wasn’t the author of it. But this is the way a frustrated, hopeless, carnal person views it. Solomon had walked away from God and was speaking from that position. We now live in a fallen world and the hopelessness and evil Solomon was describing certainly exists. But through Jesus, we have been redeemed. To the degree we renew our minds and appropriate what He has provided for us, we can experience heaven here on earth.
