(Edited from another site) I live at North H Street and there is absolutely no heat in the building, none! I have been told by the maintenance man the the boiler is broken, and have been told by another tenant that has live here 4 years (section 8) the there hasnt been heat for the entire time they have lived here, and will not say a word for fear of loosing section 8 standing. If it were not for the fact that I have a gas stove, and I am lucky to have one of the few that has a gas stove, I would be freezing my #$%% off or paying for my heat myself by using electric heaters {the lease states that a local realty(owner) pays for the gas to heat the place, its an old steam heat system register type of heat and a boiler is needed} and being on a fixed income I cannot afford it.
