Education Funding Agency confirms FSU Funding in Building News Subscribe to this entry Print More Sharing ServicesBookmark We are delighted to announce that the EFA has confirmed today that they will provide the funding to establish both the two year old and the nursery provision for the school as part of the Priority School Building Programme. This resolves a major issue for us all and allows us to focus on developing the optimal environment for the staff and children. Our current Foundation Stage Unit will benefit enormously from the funding. Our vision is that the unit can operate in a single space, however, this is currently not feasible given the current building constraints. We know that it would cost around £20K to make the current classrooms (Matisse and Mondrian) into one. Even with this work, the new space would be smaller than the current space standards for children of this age group dictate. This non essential work could not be funded by school or Devon County Council so it really is wonderful news that the funding is secure and will ensure a leading-edge space for our children to learn and grow! Thank you for your continued support. Last modified on Monday, 15 December 2014 Monet Visit the Travelling Planetarium
