:: Education (in SA) Today -Schools are not able to give teh students the stimulation and perhaps the right mindset. They are not connecting the knowledge project with the project of life. { Prof. OConnell, UWC Rector, Article in Black Business Quarterly, 4th Quarter 2013, p. 42} -Exactly someone who speaks my language! Whew! -The issue is in the Modell of our Education System! Our curriculum is always borrowed; right there could be our weakest link! -Its okay to see models from other nations. But the problem is that we take the most closest to home and fabricate it to suit our situation which is just taking it from worse to worst! :: Suggestion -If we can just assess thoroughly all the corners of our past and present systems, compare to the most successful states (with similar class and above) around the globe. Instead of adapting systems to our situation, we should make an ALL NEW SYTEM, and -STOP THE ONE-SIZE FITS-ALL! :: ANY suggestions people? is there a model, a new, BRAND NEW MODEL that could change our current situation?
