Edward Herrmanns death breaks my heart. Maybe its because I just spent 3 months watching Gilmore Girls on netflix. I wasnt going to do a write up of the show because its not a binge - its an addiction. I loved it. Every episode was like chicken soup for my sad soul. Plus there are so many pop culture references it is fabulous. What I loved about Herrmanns character is that he reminded me a lot of my own grandpa. He might have his own business or problems with other people but he always loved and adored Rory his granddaughter. I was lucky to have a grandpa who adored me, too.
