Effective today we will begin a daily series based on motorcycle etiquette. Following the motorcycle etiquette series we will feature Motorcycle Tech Tips & Tricks. Motorcycle Etiquette #1: Its never ok to touch, sit on, lean on, or otherwise fondle another persons motorcycle without first asking permission. While most people dont mind once permission has been requested, its never safe to assume that consent is implied in any fashion. This rule applies to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or other special attributes. It would not be acceptable to climb in someone elses car, lay on the hood, or rub all over the hood, therefore it is not acceptable to climb on someone elses scooter. WARNING: Failure to abide by this friendly advise could result in bodily injury.
