Eid is just a few days away. Im sure my Muslim friends are busy Eid shopping. Browsing designer stores for the perfect dress thats the right color, and another dress, and then another dress. There are more than one million Iraqis and three million Syrians displaced this year. Eid is around the corner for them too. They have no home let alone food. The least you can do is minimize your extravagance and help a needy person in which ever way you can. Let it be a donation for the displaced in Syria or charity to a needy neighborhood person. If not that, at least add the oppressed and unfortunate in your prayers.
