Eight Brentwood Academy football alumni are participating in post-season play. Two of them are competing against each other. Graham Shuler 12, a junior starting offensive lineman at Stanford University, will play against Nathan Renfro 11, senior punter at University of Maryland, in the Fosters Farm Bowl in San Francisco on December 30. Junior Kwazel Bertrand 11 and freshman Amos Mason 13, players for the Naval Academy, played in the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego on December 23 against San Diego State University. Connor Johnson 13, a freshman on the Air Force Academy football team, will be with the team at the Idaho Potato Bowl when the Falcons take on the Western Michigan Broncos. Woody Baron 12, sophomore defensive tackle at Virginia Tech, played against University of Cincinnati in the Military Bowl on December 27 in Annapolis, Maryland. Freshman Derek Barnett 14, University of Tennessee defensive end, will play against Iowa in the TaxSlayer Bowl January 2 in Jacksonville, FL. Sophomore Florida State defensive back, Jalen Ramsey 13, will face University of Oregon in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA on January 1. Good luck to all our EAGLE alumni. You make us proud.
