Eight days of hard work with Kevin and the re wire is complete. What a great job Kevin has done and was really appreciated. Just some sockets and switches to set into walls(concrete !) and then decoration will start. I hope Kevin will return later in summer and then he can have a relaxing time and soak up some rays whilst consuming some (cold) beer. Wendy and Di will be arriving later on this evening from UK by car (this will be the first time Wendy has driven all the way down from Calais) hope they have a safe trip(Rouen will be a test as the main bridge is still closed). A new neighbour from UK has moved into a house in the hamlet and after a visit to introduce ourselves I realised that I do not have that much to do as he has a nightmare property to renovate. This makes me feel a lot better. The weather forecast for the next few days is great, lots of sun(26 degrees). The saga continues.
