Eighty five fantastic people ran for Combat Stress in the British - TopicsExpress

Eighty five fantastic people ran for Combat Stress in the British 10K London Run on Sunday. Among them was Combat Stress staff and a team from Sleeping Giant Media, who have pledged to raise a significant amount of money for the charity by undertaking several challenges including kayaking 150 miles around the Kent coast. They joined thousands of people taking part in one of the worlds greatest road races as the route took them past many of Londons iconic landmarks - Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, St Pauls Cathedral and Tower Bridge to name a few. Combat Stress staff held a picnic at the end to hand out goody bags and refreshments to the runners. A big thanks to everyone who came along and to all those who ran for the charity. The money raised will help us to continue delivering specialist care to thousands of Veterans across the UK.
