*Eira stood just outside the back door overlooking the many flower gardens that surrounded the patio and pathway around her cottage. Naya and Mari were sleeping soundly in the guest room; a smile fluttered across her face happy that the Amazon had trusted and felt safe to stay at her cottage. It had been only a few days since she had had her own crisis of sorts. The hurts and sorrows of the past few months had weighed so heavy on her that she had resisted all that was set before her. Quintus, the guard her Father placed in her private prison to watch over her had become a thorn. She had despised his being assigned to her that he was part of the Vanguard added hurt to injury. Holding a cup of tea in her hand she sat on the step and began to reflect on the day the Goddess and the Roman came to terms.
