When discussing poetry you get to a point, after precisely explaining this part and that feeling, where you realize that some subtleties of experience cannot be clarified with words. So dont ever think you can explain a poem entirely. Remember a poets words are simply a finger pointing the way. The finger itself is not so important, the thing it is pointing at is what matters. You wont find that thing in their words no matter how hard you look, no matter how much you dissect every syllable. You have to look past the words, and towards the mystery. Stop reading words. Start looking in the direction they are pointing. Enjoy!
