Ekiti 2014... #AYO FAYOSE IS A SAINT COMPARED TO FAYEMI# The Ekiti State outgoing governor yesterday issued a press release against the process and emergence of the PDP candidate, Ayo Fayose. One will agree that PDP has not only picked the right candidate but the next governor of Ekiti State. For the sake of clarity, I will take the misguided public down the memory lane. That some of us is not even living Ekiti does not deny us of the day to day to activities in our dear state. I read from my bedroom in the United Kingdom the outcome of the AC primaries held at St. Jonathans Memorial Anglican School, opposite Mobil Filling Station, Ado Ekiti where Fayemi was foisted on the other more popular candidates through the support of Niyi Adebayo and money available from the Lagos Looter. Recall that over 33 aspirants walked away from the venue and later joined PDP. That will establish the fact that Fayemi never won any election in Ekiti. The journey of his legal tussle was used to plant sentiments in the mind of an average Ekiti man and that was responsible for the jubilation and the unwarranted triumphant shouting in Ekiti when they succeeded in buying the judgement. This led to the inglorious exit of An Appeal Court Judge who has put in several years in his legal profession. The mistaken governor started his tenure with unrealistic pronouncements that are today unmet, space may not allow me mention some of these trickish pronouncements. Fayemi started his government when he was looking for several means to make money available to his sponsors and then went to capital market to borrow. I am not part of the people talking against borrowing but the utilisation of the borrowed fund. In his release yesterday, he referred to the roads constructed by Fayose has cosmetic roads but I was informed that the whole dualisation done in Ado Ekiti was N3.2b between 2003 and 2005. The Afao Road mentioned was awarded for N213m and I never thought there was ever a route linking Ado to Afao, in essence, it was a virgin route. The succeeded government abandoned the road deliberately. This same road was re-awarded for just an asphalt over lay by Fayemi for about N700m and still owing the contractor as I write. Though I have not plied the road ever, but I was told today that there are pot holes on this same road as I write. it is not new that a kilometer road in Ekiti today is not less than N1billion. These are not even the main issues. Does Fayemi even have the moral right with regard to divinty to call somebody a murderer? This is unacceptable. Lets even analyse the major political killings between 2003 and 2006 & 2010 till date. One will agree that Ayo Fayose is more than a Saint to Fayemi. Imagine a corpse was brought to Governors Office from Omuo by Hon. Femi Bamisile; the gruesome broad day murder of Ayo Murphy Jeje and Mrs. Adewumi in Erijiyan Ekiti; the sad of all is the most recent killing of Ogundare in Emure Ekiti, Fayemi personally influence judiciary for the release of the killer. For those of Ayo Fayose, nobody can establish the involvement of Ayo fayose in the killings of Ayo Daramola and Omojola but one will agree with me that about six Ekiti innocent citizens have been killed by Fayemi killers Squad. In the first place, what is Fayemis concern on the candidature of PDP for heavens sake. The man who does not want any competition even within his party? A man who has severally beaten the hands that fed him? The man who now travels from river to ocean because of his access to paraphernalia of office? A man who preaches probity and has congested his administration with capital flight projects? I thought in his speech I read during the inauguration of his campaign on Sunday, he echoed emphatically that his campaigns will be issued based and not of personality attack and violence! Fayemi should concentrate on how to reconcile his disgruntled party members, the civil servants, local government employees, teachers and entire work force in Ekiti State. Like he said, the dark days is over, bye bye to frivolity in Ekiti, bye bye to brigandage and criminalities... Ekiti will decide come 21st of June, 2014. IN GOD WE TRUST ....
