Ellen Wiltz Satterly Susie Cormier-Robinson I have an update on Benny and a request. I was Bennys original ower who adopted him from the st landry parish shelter. I knew I would not be able to give him a furever home but I did find a man, named Ben who did give him a wonderful home. I was shocked when I found out that Benny was once again in a shelter. l drove to Bens house but no one was home. Then rushed to Crowley and was very happily reunited with Benny. I was able to get in touch with a lady who is friends with Ben (the man). She told he that Ben absolutely adored Benny. They were meant to be, the man would say. Theyvloved each other very much. Sadly the man had a tragedy in his family and went to another state because of the tragedy. My theory is that may be Benny was left with someone while Ben was out of state. May be Ben ran away from wherever he was. This is just my thoughts. Benny was also picked up with a very sweet bigger tan and white dog. The two dogs got along very well. The other dog seemed upset when benny left. It broke my heart but I could not take both especially not knowing if the two dogs were connected. Im trying to find out any info on Ben and any on the other dog who was picked up with benny by the shelter. I would also like to say that the Acadia animal shelter in Crowley is absolutely amazing. So helpful. It was clean. The dogs had everything they needed. The lady who worked today, her name started with C, im sorry I cant remember, was above and beyond sweet and helpful.
