Read more at hullcitytigers/news/article/elmo-backs-tigers-to-rediscover-their-edge-2217299.aspx#Fty6PeAiM31OVwq8.99“When you look at last Sunday’s game at West Ham, you can see that it was the little mistakes we made that were the difference,” said Elmohamady. “At Premier League level, you can’t afford to be making these mistakes but unfortunately they sometimes happen in football. “Every goal can be traced back to a mistake and what we have to do is learn from the mistakes that we’ve made, improve and keep going. “I know myself that I should have scored at West Ham and we had three or four other good chances as well, but then West Ham went on to be the better team and took their chances. “It was a disappointing day, especially with the additional injuries that we picked up as well. “But again, that is something that we have to adjust to and hopefully we don’t pick up any more bad injuries before the end of the season. “I’m sure we will be okay.” Last weekend saw Elmohamady occupy the left wing-back role, a move from his more traditional position on the right, but the Egyptian international admitted he was comfortable with making the switch. “I have played on the left for the national team and it’s not a problem for me,” added Elmohamady. “I was doing the same job, just on the left instead of the right. I think I would have scored if the chance had come to me on the opposite side though. “Wherever the manager wants me to play, I will play. Whether it is on the right, left, up front, centre back, goalkeeper....I will do it.
