Emancipation and INCARNATION. My dear friends, I pause to greet you on this august day, And in no uncertain way, this is what I have to ask and say. Who is your hero; is it Marcus, Bogle, Nanny or yu granny? Is it Sharp, Gordon, Bustamante or Manley? Who is your hero? After fifty plus years of independence we are not independent. We go back almost two centuries to August 1, 1838 and ask ourselves have we lost our fate? In whom do you put your faith? This is truth promotion, brace yourself and answer these questions. Which side are you on? Will you take a stand for Christ or Satan? Where is your true heritage? Is it in the Promise Land-the heavenly Canaan? Or is it in Africa the Mother Land? Ok! Pardon my lack of patriotism- I get it, it must be Jamaica our beloved nation. Well, I must tell you after 1838 and 1962 what are we emancipated from and what have we gain independence from? We celebrate emancipation and forget there is a war going on in which there is a dragon that has ambition to deceive the nations. This is the time for us to celebrate our dependence on divine independence who alone can give us power to overcome this devastation. Now i have you think, while you do answer these few questions. Didnt you know the Lion and the Lamb are one? Not the roaring one but the Conquering One. The same one; without question, the Lamb slain from the Foundation. The Word that became flesh-Incarnation. He who came to give us independence through emancipation. Hes gone back to heaven to make provisions with mansions for our accommodation. So today I encourage you to embrace this inspiration and ask, what are you emancipated from? Let this penetrate your brain, relieve your pain, and be lungs to your respiration Emotional, mental, physical or spiritual slavery; with bravery appreciate the Gospel Explosion from the God who gave us Incarnation. The WORD gives us hope when life pushes us to the rope. Whether life give us yachts or homes with rats the greatest fact, God’s got our backs! On this emancipation day, as we pray, remember what we are about. A blessed land guided and guarded by His mighty hand and this is a truth we must never doubt. Have a delightful and hopeful Emancipation remembering Incarnation. Happy SABBATH one and all C. Poetic. P 2014
