Embarrassing Illnesses – Athletes foot This fungal infection which affects the upper layer of the foot skin especially when it is warm, moist and irritated, is one of the most embarrassing illnesses that can affect a human being; its caused by a fungus known as Trichophyton, which is commonly found on floors and in clothing.
