Emergency!!!!! A longtime CARE colony caregiver and volunteer surrendered 25 cats late yesterday afternoon. Since they are owner-surrendered, OCAS is permitted to kill the cats the same day. Since some of the cats were ear-tipped, we were notified as a courtesy. However, the cats must be picked up by close of business TODAY or they will be killed. Some of the cats have mange and/or upper respiratory infection and will need to be treated (at CAREs expense). If you can help, please contact [email protected] ASAP!!!! Thank you.
