Emily Kammerlohr Says I am hoping that you can post this, so that anyone with experience/or advice on living in these states can give me some honest feedback. Hello all and HAPPY HALLOWEEN! My husband and I are very seriously considering a move across country to be closer to his family for their support and love. My husband is from Pepperell, Massachusetts a small town near the borders of Mass and New Hampshire. Ive never lived or even visited this part of the country. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on these states and their autism resources. Our handsome boy, Maddox, is seven and non-verbal autistic. He is very severe and on the low functioning side of the spectrum. He is now attending regular school, but in a very small, contained classroom with only 5 children and many aides there to help out. Maddox not only loves school, but it is necessary for him to be able to go to school full time not only because it makes him so happy, but also so that his dad and I can work. What are the schools, resources, and availability of therapists in this part of the country and would we fare better in one state vs. the other (Mass vs. NH)? I really would appreciate any feedback or info because I truly am sort of going in
