Emily Wynn is out of surgery. They did have to cut instead of repair. But she was born with what is called a Discoid meniscus which means she has extra meniscus from what most people have. So they cut the bad piece out but now her meniscus looks like everyone elses. Her recovery time will be 4-6 weeks and her chance of early arthritis is not much more than the average athlete. Thank you Lord for answered prayer. It feels like we got the best of both worlds.
