*Emotional day* Missy the cat and I have been in Phoenix for 24 hours now, and while she and I are settling in, I noticed myself feeling sad, with a little wave of fear in my belly today when I realized what is actually happening right now. Something about waking up here in a strange bed, far away from my neighborhood in NYC that made this whole thing feel more real to me for some reason. As Ive heard Tony Robbins and others say: If you want to take the island...then burn the f&#@ing boats to safety I think today Im realizing that the boats are burning, and I have no choice but to take the island. This is a good thing. But it can feel very unnerving too. Ive done this numerous times in my life, and always have thrived in the end. I know this will be no different, but that doesnt mean I wont feel scared sometimes. Im sharing this for those of you who know its time to step up and make a change, to raise your game, or GO FOR IT somewhere in your life, and to let you know that youll feel scared and uncomfortable, but that is just part of the ride. Thanks for all of your support my lovely FB tribe...whether it was a comment, a like or just kind thoughts. I truly appreciate the encouragement and love. Embracing the journey and enjoying the adventure is where its at for me these days...even if it feels icky sometimes.
