Encouraging especially for a new year! Fear Not and Follow the Holy Spirit Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. [Acts 18:10.] (Isaiah 41:10 AMP) We certainly dont want to move in the flesh or out of Gods timing, but when God is moving, you cant be afraid to move with Him. Satan brings fear to our mind and emotions when the Holy Spirit is trying to lead us in a new direction. He tries to use fear to keep us from moving forward with God. Isaiah 41:10 says, Fear not, for I am with you. If youve been afraid of something and desire to be free, the time will eventually come when youll have to face your fear and not run from it. Just take Jesus hand, acknowledge that He is with you, and do it. Dont be afraid, for He is with you. If youre at one of these crossroads in your life, let me encourage you to go forward. Dont stand still in terror, but take His hand and go forward. Remember, God wants to deliver you from all of your fears! Prayer Starter: Lord, I want to follow You wherever You lead. Help me to place my fear aside and move forward with You.
