End of Vassa Chanting will be held, on Wednesday, 8th October 2014, at 7.30pm @SJBA Shrine Hall This End of Vassa occasion is to commemorate the return of the Buddha (on His 7th Vassa) from the Tavatimsa Heaven on the full moon day of October, 2596 years ago, after teaching the Abhidhamma to His late mother (who was reborn in the Tavatimsa Heaven). At SJBA, Sayadaw U Rewata will lead in the chanting of the Patthana (good for protection of one from harm and danger). All are welcome to participate in the Chanting.
