Endure Persecution with Joy for the Name & Cause of Jesus All who desire to live GODLY lives in Christ Jesus will be Persecuted - 2 Tim. 3:12 As long as we are living GODLY lives here on earth we will be facing tribulations as Jesus faced.. GOD promises to be with us and give us Grace to overcome.. Jesus said to the disciples, In this world you will have tribulation but take heart I have overcome the earth - John 16:33 With great tribulation we will enter the kingdom of heaven - Acts 14:22 For the Name / Cause of Jesus , standing on the Truth of GODs Word people will not like us.. They will talk bad about us... They will even hurt/insult us directly or indirectly May be our own family members will put us down only because we are a believers, praying more and doing service for the Lord ......Remember Persecution for Jesus has to come , we must endure it with Joy.. There is a great blessing in it.... Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for my sake - Math. 5:10-11 Yes True we are also called to be rejected and Persecuted like Our Lord Jesus.. We must be prepared to endure with joy.. The Lord will help us through His Holy Spirit.. If we desire to Glorify JESUS, standing in Truth of GODs Word and walking in the Will of GOD, we will be persecuted by men.. There is great blessing when persecution comes... the Glory of GOD in a greater way is revealed in our lives - What a Blessing.... If we are insulted because of the Name of Christ we are blessed for the Spirit of Glory and of GOD rests on you - I Pet. 4:14 When Persecution comes ? What should we do ? When we suffer for the Name of Jesus (according to GODs Will) we should commit ourselves to GOD and continue to do good - I Pet. 4:19 As the Bible says, Christians will be insulted , beaten , tortured , killed for the Name of Jesus Christ.. We are seeing this everywhere especially in Iraq, Syria, India.. many parts of the world.. Lets pray for Our Fellow believers and their family members..around the world who are being Persecuted for the Name of Jesus Lord Jesus also suffered and was put to death but endured till the end.. Paid the penalty for our sin on the Cross...Conquered death, sin & curse for us all... The disciples of Jesus also had to suffer much when preaching the Gospel and were put to death...
