Engi-damn-neering! Gotta tell ya, as a machine oriented guy, I realize that the expected failure rate of any technical system is described roughly as a bell curve. Most people think the chance of failure of a machine only increases with time which would describe a linear progression, but in fact, a new machine is more susceptible to failure than one in the prime of its life. When they are new, you have to worry about design mistakes, manufacturing flaws, etc., and when they are old, you have to worry about stuff just wearing out (but only stuff that wears out that cant be replaced or has never shown a tendency to wear out sufficiently to change). I would ride this ride...in a year or two. Looks too new for me to put some Lazy D butt up in them seats. Lemme put it this way: Lazy D aint the worlds guinea pig. He dont ride new planes or buy new cars or stand in line for the release of the newest phone or Windows release, but he also is determined to not be the last guy shot in a war, too.
