Engineer: IN & OCS Applications are invited for the post of Engineer: IN & OCS Department : Information Systems Reports to : Manager: IN & VAS Closing date : 05 September 2013 Location : MTN South Sudan Head Office MISSION/CORE PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To monitor the stability / feasibility of the relevant application environment at the MTN South Sudan IT functions and provide short and medium term support to related projects where required. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Monitor on daily basis CDR flow dispatch by mediation to Billing • Control, according to set of procedures and processes, and monitoring data flow missing and gaps • Monitor stability, connectivity and performance of the applications environment • Responsible to check and verify data readiness for billing by end of every month • Responsible to run bill generation and finalize e-printing, verify correctness of the bill in value of Usage, rental and service charges • Responsible to manage the orders of SIM cards, pack coupling, SIM authentication and starter pack activation • Respons9ble to maintain a healthy account of postpaid customers; batch debit, credit, payment, account provisioning and service provisioning. • Sustain a user document for all activities, tasks and functions applied in the billing operation • To gain operation excellency, sustain internal and cross-functional processes with related procedures and policies • Participate in software development lifecycle; attend requirements reviews and helps developing leading edge processes to support new product enhancements • Help in UAT and manage the deployment of billing and CRM software releases to production. • Support customers complaints resolution based on agreed SLA; manage CSRs and sustain close follow up on complaint with the 2nd line support • Maintain administrative tasks of new products and services and sustain related fundamental documentation • Maintain POS and inventory management functions, helps in report generation and management of new requirements • Contributes in the integration of the billing and CRM with other platforms (i.e. BiB, SDP, USSD) and helps in information analysis QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Education: • BSc in computing engineering / computer science Experience: • 3 years’ experience in billing support and administration; project management experience advantageous KNOWLEDGE • ITIL standards ,Problem solving • Project communication planning and management • Project management, Financial acumen, Reporting,Service level agreement management • Technical knowledge of software services TRAINING • Business product distribution management, Business value chain • Administration and Operation Billing @Bility and CRM concierge Tecnotree • Corporate business governance • Change management and incident management • Telecom systems integrity architecture and designs SKILLS • Ability to work under pressure • Advanced communication; interpersonal and reporting skills • Analytical skills, Data analysis skills, Information management,Negotiation skills • Project management, Risk assessment,Risk management Preference will be given to South Sudanese nationals.
