Engineering Technician Abington, Cambridgeshire £19,000 - £20,000 per annum Job type: Temporary, full-time Duration: Temporary to Permanent Our client is a long established, global entity based just South of Cambridge. We are looking to recruit, on their behalf, an experienced and talented Engineering Technician to work on a temporary to possibly permanent basis. Working 8.30am till 5pm, Monday to Friday, the successful applicant will be a key member of the team. The role will involve assembling mechanical tests and machines to carry out fatigue and resonance fatigue tests, followed by preparing samples after test completion for detailed investigation. We are looking for candidates who are practical and have an engineering or mechanical background. ONC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent would be desirable but not essential. You will also need to have good team working and communication skills, and IT literate. Training will be provided for the successful applicant. This is initially a temporary role but it is highly likely that this will be extended to either a contract or permanent position for the right person.
