Enjoyed a delicious Spaghetti Luncheon at Jonathans school today. The students did an amazing job at preparing and cooking the Spaghetti/Sauce/Meatballs, fresh salad & garlic bread as well as brownies & homemade apple crisp. And, proud to say my Jonathan made the Apple Crisp. :) Although Jonathan attends school in Plattsburgh, the classroom is designed not only for his core academics, but he has the luxury of attending a variety field trips within the community & students have an input regarding the trips, participates in a community-based work program to skill build & participates in a weekly adventure-based learning program to further skill building internally & externally. And, Jonathan has the opportunity for an easy transition to CV-Tech for his last 2 years of school. Jonathan will not only receive his high school diploma in 3 years but will also graduate with a degree with his trade of choice. So proud of Jonathan & as long as I am on this earth, Jonathan will be an educated & productive member of society.
