Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” - - TopicsExpress

Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” - Genesis 5:24 (NASB) All of us will leave a legacy. Some will be remembered as a good, or kind person. Others will be remembered as a great businessperson, or a civic leader. Some people work all their lives for that 15 minutes of fame. Thousands of years after his death, Enoch was remembered, not as a good man, a great father, or a powerful leader, but as a man who walked with God. When a man walks with God, everything else falls into place. The more we walk with God, the more we know God and the more we know God, the more we walk with Him. Now there is a big difference between walking with God and being religious. Going to church is not the same as walking with God. Knowing about God is not the same as knowing God. In order to walk with someone, we have to be going in the same direction. Walking with someone implies fellowship and intimacy. The message of the Gospel is that we who once were separated from God can now have fellowship with Him. We can walk with God!
