Eph 4:11-16 11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we ALL come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. I was watching workers build a school next to where I live. They were pouring cement, by hand, creating the base of the second floor. One person emptied bags of cement into a mixer, another added water. Others loaded cement into a bucket, while a crane operator hoisted the bucket up to the second floor. Others emptied the bucket into wheelbarrows, which were taken to where cement needed to be poured, while another man used a board to smooth the cement. If ANY one of those people did not do their jobs properly, or were not allowed to do their jobs for some reason, the ENTIRE process would come to a halt. ALL had to do their parts, for the building to be successfully built. The Lord is wanting the Church to arise as ONE MAN on the earth, so that the world will see Jesus, and be drawn to Him, so that as many as possible will be saved. But it takes us ALL working together to accomplish this. It takes the apostle, the prophet, the pastor, the teacher, and the evangelist, EACH doing what they are called to do, which is to EQUIP the body of Christ for ministry. If ANY of those are not doing their job, or are not allowed to do their job, Gods building, HIS TEMPLE, the Church, on the earth, will not become what He intended it to become. The Father says: Each person in My Sons Church has a VERY important role to play, to accomplish My Purpose on the earth. For too long, mans order of things has kept the Church from becoming all I meant for her to be. Three hundred years ago, it was believed that there was no room for the evangelist. People like John Wesley who preached the Gospel in the streets were persecuted BY THE CHURCH, and discouraged from sharing the Gospel outside the four walls of church buildings. While that may seem unusual today, because evangelists are now seen as an important part of the church, those in leadership have similar views of prophets and apostles, that they have no place today, due to mans way of thinking. Yet until the prophets and apostles are allowed to fulfill THEIR roles, the Church will never become what I meant for her to be. I encourage those in leadership to seek My Face regarding the apostles and prophets that I have placed in churches. Though man has ordered things so that pastors are always the ones in leadership in churches, that was not how I intended things to be. Apostles, prophets, AND pastors should work together, alongside the teachers, to help equip My Children to do the things I meant for each one of My Children to do, to accomplish My Purpose on the earth, so that My Son will have His Bride, and so that the Gospel will be preached to every nation. Lord Jesus says: I long to see My Bride arise, and display My Glory for all to see. I am very proud of My Bride, but she is not walking in all I intended her to walk in. She is divided, and My People are walking far below what I intended for them to walk in. Congregations have become spectators, and not participators in My Fathers plan. I live in EACH one of My Brothers and Sisters. I long to walk and talk through EVERY one of them. But they must be EQUIPPED. They must know how to hear My Voice, they must know how to allow Me to speak through them, to demonstrate My Power to a lost and hurting world. But until EACH of those in the role of apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, and evangelist are doing their parts, this will not occur. So I encourage those in leadership to seek My Face, to humble yourselves and sit at My feet, and allow Me to show you how I see your church, and the gifts I have placed in your church, those who I put there to equip My people for the ministry. For I am VERY EAGER for My Bride to arise and show the world that I love them, that I died for them, so that as many can be saved as possible. Each of My brothers and sisters has a very important role in this season, the season that My Bride arises, and becomes ALL I meant for her to be.
