Ephesians 3:18 tells us: And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Have you ever thought about how much God truly loves us? You? His love for us goes beyond all depths of our comprehension. Even as parents we cannot reach the love for our own children as God has for us. If we want our children to come to us and confide in us, ask us for help, ask us for advice and follow our counsel and instruction because we love them, then how much more does you father desire this from you? Have you asked God for His counsel lately? We want our children to live whole and healthy lives making good sound decisions, right? Well I am here to tell you God wants the same thing from us. Is there something in your life right now that you have been holding on to or that is holding you back from enjoying the good and healthy life God wants for you? If so................... This week we will be starting our Celebrate Recovery lesson on DENIAL. Dont let your past hurts, habits and hang ups hold you back any longer. Some of you may be stuck in bitterness and resentments over what someone else may have done to you. Would you like to let go and forgive those who have hurt you? You may be struggling with guilt from something you did in your past that you think you could never be free of. The bottom line is you need to deal with you past once and for all! Isaiah 43:18 tells us Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. That doesnt mean to ignore the past, but rather learn from it. Offer forgiveness, make amends, then release it. Come out Friday at 7:00 to learn more. 890 Fargo St. San Leandro. Ca.
