Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, - TopicsExpress

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The world is a dark place. We all struggle against the world and the dark powers in the world. In our struggle against the dark powers, we must all fight the fight of faith with unending vigor and with passion. Satan and his despicable scum-covered followers do all they can to defeat us. From outward appearances, since all of us will die, it can appear we are all helpless victims in the end. However, all of us can be victors in this battle. We can all be winners during our life and at the end of our life. Our hope is infinite in this battle. In fighting our fight of faith, we must always look ahead and realize the score we see on the scoreboard in the world is not the score written on the scoreboard in heaven. Satan deceives, lies, and cheats to make you think you are losing. Satan tries to rule the world and rule all the powers of the world by any means possible. However, with Christ, we are saved. With Christ living in our heart, we can call His name and proclaim His victory over any darkness, any time, any place. In every trial and darkness, His victory is a victory of light and love. When our hope seems to run out, we can look to His empty tomb to see hope lasting forever. When the battle rages around us and our spirit is low, we need only to look at His sacrifice upon the cross so we can bear our burdens a little longer for His glory and grace.
