Episode Recap – 11/6/13 Bill and Brooke are in Aspen – Bill outside. Brooke comes up with some leaves and says she’s taking them home. Bill is quiet and thinking of things. Brooke says you’re okay – all that matters is that I still have you. Bill says – this was just what he needed to set his life straight. He says let’s go. Carter and Maya kissing. Carter was out of town in Hong Kong for work for HFTF. Maya picks up a pic of herself when she was modeling. Carter asks if she misses the modeling and Maya says – very much. Rick and Caroline talking. They talk about the “attempted” robbery of the diamond. Rick says they should start planning their wedding. Rick says he doesn’t care where or when – he just doesn’t want to wait too long. They kiss. Maya looks at the picture remembering when they did it. Carter says they’re beautiful and she’s a natural in front of the camera. She says sometimes she wonders if she made a mistake leaving FC. She says that she loved the work and doesn’t know how Carter is going to feel about it – but, she thinks she wants to go back to work there. Rick and Caroline talking about the wedding. Rick says he’ll marry her anywhere. She says how about a yacht. Rick says he would marry her anywhere – in a park. Caroline says – isn’t that where Bill and Katie got married and Rick says – pretty much. They talk about Bill and Brooke being together. Rick says they’re climbing a mountain – I think they’re pretty serious. Bill and Brooke are on the plane and the pilot tells them they’ll be taking off soon. Brooke offers Bill a cocktail and he says no. She asks if he’s okay. She knows Bill’s been through a lot. She says – you could have died – I’m sure it’s very terrifying for you. Bill says – he’s a survivor and he’s not going to let a mountain or anyone get the best of him. Maya admits that she misses the work. Carter says – Rick? Maya says no – she’s committed to him but, she misses the work. Carter says he thought she liked working on Room 8. She says she does but, she misses modeling and in a dream world she’d have her job back. Carter says – so this has nothing to do with Rick – you’re completely over him? Maya says yes and she’s completely and totally committed to him. Maya says their relationship ended – Rick is marrying Caroline and I am marrying you. She says everything turned out the way it was meant to. Carter says stay here – there’s something I have to do. She says okay and then gives him a kiss. Rick says his mom texted him from the jet. Caroline says – they’re on their way back? Rick says something happened to Bill on the mountain. Caroline asks if he’s okay and Rick says – yes. Caroline says – don’t you ever scare me like that. She says the most dangerous thing I want you to do is carry me over the threshold. Rick says – marrying her is dangerous enough. They laugh and hug. Bill is on the plane thinking. Brooke says – she’s still shaking. Bill says he didn’t expect this. He says he should have known better. Brooke says they’re both okay and it’s a great story to tell Will one day. Brooke says – thank God you decided to wear that harness. I don’t know what I would do if I lost you. Bill says he’s sorry to put her through this. Brooke says – he’s fine and that’s all that matters. Bill says – this was life-changing. Maya is looking at pics in the office and Caroline comes in – she says - “Martha” you scared me. Maya says – does anyone ever call you Carolyn. Caroline says – all the time. Maya says – oh well – Carolyn it is. Carter comes in Rick’s office. Rick says he heard he did a great job in Hong Kong. Carter says he has a favor to ask. He asks Rick if he’d consider Maya coming back as a spokesmodel. Maya says congratulations on the engagement again. She asks to see Caroline’s engagement ring. She says she’s happy for her. Maya says she misses HFTF. She says she gave up a great opportunity. Caroline says as much as it pains her to say it – she did rock it as a spokesmodel. Rick isn’t sure that Caroline would like it. Carter says everything has changed. Rick says Maya was one of the best of the spokesmodels. Carter says she belonged here – she felt special and she deserves another shot. Will you give her another chance? Bill says it took almost dying to kick him in the ass to what’s really important. He says when he was dangling by that little rope – it was a wake up call – a moment of clarity. He says he’s made a lot of mistakes and that he’s been doing it all wrong. He says he has to get his life back and get in control again. His company, he’s a weekend father – if Katie gives him permission. He says he’s made a decision – I’m sorry Brooke – I never meant to hurt you. It’s the only solution – I’m going back to your sister. Maya picks up pictures and looks at them and remembers being on the runway. Rick comes in and they smile at each other. Rick says they liked having her at FC. He says she really made an impact on HFTF. She represented the brand beautifully. He says – he realizes that she felt she had to resign – that the lines got blurred. Maya says she felt that leaving was the best for everybody. Rick says – but they’ve moved on. Rick says something is missing and Hope would agree – he says – you, as a spokesmodel. He says what do you say – would you consider coming back to FC. Brooke says – you’re going back to Katie? Bill says – I know what I have to do with my life – I see it clearly now. Brooke says – she can’t believe this. Bill says – he has no right to ask her to understand but, he can’t function this way Brooke – he says everything has been stripped away from him – his life is a mess. He says – and you – you’ve been miserable. Bill says – I’m going back to Katie. This is the only way to get our lives back. Brooke says – Bill, I was telling you this from the very beginning. I told you it was wrong and we shouldn’t have done this in the first place. But you wouldn’t listen to me. Bill says – I’m sorry I hurt you this way. Brooke says – you told me not to feel guilty – you told me not to be ashamed of our relationship. You told me you loved me and only me. I knew it – I should have listened to my gut. I should have listened to my conscience (she’s crying.) I can’t believe this. After all the times you told me you loved me – the hot air balloon ride, supporting me through Stephanie’s death. Do you remember any of this Bill? You pledged your love for me in front of the Prince’s Palace in Monte Carlo. You proposed marriage. How could you do all of those things and change your mind when you’re dangling from a cliff. This is the rest of our lives we’re talking about. I believed you. How could you do this? Who the hell are you? Just go – go back to Katie. Brooke still crying.
