Episode Recap – 7/14/14 Hope and Liam kiss in her office at FC. Hope tells Liam he’s a very distracting person and he laughs and says he tries. They kiss again and Hope says she could kiss him all day long but, she has a meeting to go to and says it’s weird considering someone new for the jewelry line. Hope says she feels sad that Wyatt lost so much because of his mom. Liam says that Wyatt lost a lot – including Hope. Hope says that Liam has been great not rubbing in to Wyatt and Liam says that Wyatt is a Spencer and Hope will be. He says they’re family and should start acting like it. At Wyatt’s, he looks at the diamond and puts in the flash drive from Ricardo. Ricardo starts telling Wyatt about their shared passion of the diamond and tells Wyatt the diamond is his. There’s a knock at the door and Wyatt closes the computer and goes to answer it. It’s Deacon. He asks Wyatt about Quinn and if she’s getting the help she needs. He asks Wyatt if he’s doing okay. Wyatt tells him he just got some unexpected help of his own. He shows Deacon the diamond and tells him it’s mine. Deacon stares at him. Deacon looks at it and he asks Wyatt what exactly he’s looking at. He can’t believe that it’s real. He tells Deacon he doesn’t want anybody knowing about it. Deacon asks if it’s from that diamond heist. Wyatt tells him the man who owns it was a friend of his and the diamond was his most prized possession. He tells Deacon he inherited it. At FC, everyone is in Eric’s office and Ivy questions Eric and Rick if they’re offering her an internship. Rick starts to talk to her and Hope and Liam come in. Hope introduces Ivy to Liam and Ivy knows who he is and calls him the man in Hope’s life. Liam goes to leave and Eric tells him he can stay. Eric and Rick talk about Quinn Artisan and HFTF and tells them they have a void and Hope offers Ivy the position. Ivy is surprised and Eric says she’d be working closely with Hope and her jewelry would be displayed all over the world and on their website. Hope asks if she wants to join their team. Ivy says it’s a dream come true but, she has a whole setup in Sidney with employees, etc. and when Eric suggests she go back and forth with the company jet – she says she would still need help. Wyatt tells Deacon about the diamond and says it’s a force of nature. He says it brings good luck and has a magic about it. Deacon laughs and Wyatt tells him to ask Hope and tells him about Mexico and that he told Hope he would give it to her one day. Deacon says the last time he checked she’s committed to Liam. Wyatt says that Liam and him are a lot closer since Deacon tipped him off about his mother and the sword and tells him that Hope and him were very much in love. Deacon wonders why Hope is with Liam then. Wyatt starts to explain things starting to unravel around the pregnancy scare which stunned Deacon and goes on to say that sometimes he wishes Hope was pregnant - they’d be married. He says Hope started realizing how life-changing the pregnancy would be and then Liam wanted equal time and Wyatt tells Deacon – he would put what he had with Hope against what Liam had with Hope but, it was his mother that broke them. She went from annoying interference to crazy. Deacon says – I could have sworn you accepted the fact that Hope was with Liam and Wyatt says – I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to give up a future with Hope. Hope and Liam go back into the other office and Liam asks if she thinks Ivy will come on board and Hope hopes she does and says that a good point was raised that Ivy works out of Sidney. She can’t just leave. Liam smiles and says –I know where you’re going with this. You want to hire Wyatt back. Hope says she’s thought about it and says it’s so awful what he lost because of Quinn and he did nothing wrong but, he’s paying for it all the same. Liam says – ready to be surprised. I agree with you. He says – can you imagine having to grow up with that psychopath as a mother? Hope says – it’s not fair. Liam agrees and says that Hope is all about fair. Hope teases that Liam has a smile on his face. Hope asks if that means that he’s okay having Wyatt back around the office. Liam says – there’s a fraction in him that tells him not to trust Wyatt but, there’s a bigger part of me now that has compassion for the brother that saved my life and that part says go for it, yes – give him a chance. Hope says – oh, thank you, thank you and hugs and kisses him. Wyatt tells Deacon the diamond being here – maybe it’s not a co-incidence – that it brought them closer before. The phone rings and it’s Hope and she asks Wyatt to come to FC. He hangs up and Deacon says – looks to me like that diamond of yours is already working. Wyatt looks at the diamond and smiles at Deacon. Rick is another office with Carter says – you wanted to talk to me about something? Rick hesitates and Carter says – talk to me – what’s going on? Rick says he doesn’t want to be in the middle of this or cause doubt or a misunderstanding about my position which is why I came clean to Caroline and I’m going to do the same with you. Carter says – okay. He tells Carter he was in the steam room the other day and Maya came in and hit on him. Carter is stunned. Aly and Oliver are in the photo studio and Oliver starts talking to her and telling her he under-estimated her when he first met her. He says that she’s an amazing person and beautiful inside and out. Aly tells Oliver she’s not the same as when they first met – that he’s changed her, showing her the world comes in colors and not just black and white. She says he helped her through some very difficult times. She tells Oliver he accepts her for who she is and Oliver says – who you are is pretty much perfect to me. Aly says he never judged her and it’s a gift to be able to share everything about her with him. She tells him that nothing he says about himself will change how she feels and Oliver says – nothing is a tall order. She says – try me. Hope and Liam are in the office and Wyatt comes in. He says it’s weird being there and Liam says – maybe not so much. Hope tells him they have an offer for him. Carter is angry and asks Rick if this is his idea of a joke – that he’s married to Caroline. He says Mayas engaged to me. Rick says – he couldn’t make this up. Rick tells Carter – he knows this feels like a gut punch out of nowhere and he won’t presume to understand what’s behind it but, he didn’t want Carter in the dark. Maya comes into the office and Rick asks Carter if he’ll be alright. He tells Rick – I’m good, thanks. Rick leaves and Carter confronts Maya if she came on to Rick in the steam room. Oliver says he hopes he’s not going to regret this. He starts to talk about the day that Ridge fired him. Aly tells him it’s over. Oliver continues and says that Maya called him out and accused Oliver of using Aly to keep her job. Aly is surprised and says Maya was wrong and inappropriate and wonders what’s going on with Maya – she thinks something might be going on with Carter. Oliver tells Aly Maya overheard him tell Aly that she should be face for HFTF. Aly says that explains it – she feels threatened and Aly says she’ll go straighten it out with Maya. Oliver says Maya has changed and has done some pretty shady things lately. Aly wants to know like what and Oliver tells her – like recording me without my knowledge. He tells Aly – on that recording I said some things. Aly says how bad can it be and Oliver tells her it’s bad and he’s going to need her understanding and forgiveness. He tells her that he screwed up but, no matter how it sounds – it doesn’t change the way he feels about her. Wyatt wants to know about the offer and Hope tells him that Liam and her talked about it. She tells Wyatt that he’s been through hell dealing with his mother and they are looking for another jewelry partner and if she says yes, we think that we’ve found her. Liam says – she’s a Forrester and her name is Ivy. Hope says and she’s based in Australia. Hope says – it’s a slight problem because she can’t just shut down her business there and she’ll need help here and we couldn’t think of anybody better here. Wyatt says – you’re offering me a position? Hope says – here, back at Forrester – working on HFTF. Wyatt asks Liam if he’s okay with this and Liam says – he trusts Wyatt and Wyatt says you realize what you’re saying – you can take it back if you want. Liam says – no. Wyatt says – you trust me, that’s huge. We really are brothers now. Liam says – he thinks it’s time they start acting like it. Wyatt says – this job is fantastic and yes, I will take it. Wyatt says – their acceptance. The fact that they can separate him from his mother and give him a second chance. Liam teases – and says don’t screw it up. Wyatt laughs and says – he won’t. Liam goes over to him and they hug as Hope watches and smiles.
