Equestrian life pics are all online. Please, please, please, please, please can you have a little compassion and not let the gallant efforts of our photographers who got soaked to the skin braving the elements, with fogged up eye pieces making it twice as hard to see what we were trying to take, feet emerged in water so that they resembled prunes by the time we got home at 10.30pm after a 5.00am departure (15.5 hours with only one quick break for food at 4.00). It will break my heart to think that people may screen shot, or take what they like without paying. We only get to pay our staff, pay insurance and maintenance costs, buy thousands and thousands (thats not an exaggeration) pounds of kit, pay fuel to get to shows, train for years to make sure every shot we take counts and do uber long days, sometimes without a toilet break to bring you a service that hopefully pays our bills and keeps a roof over our heads. At the end of the day we are a business and once that stops becoming profitable then we will have to stop doing it. The rise in internet theft is taking its toll on the industry which may leave shows without photographers. This isnt a rant, just a plea! Thanks for taking the time to read :)
