Equipment Crew Help Needed: Dear Marching Band Parents, Thanks to those who turned out to clean the band trailer on Tuesday! Marching Band camp has only one week left and the first marching contest is only a few weeks away. Our equipment committee,also known as the Pit Crew, is responsible for loading and unloading the trailer and moving equipment to and from the competition field on each contest day. We also construct and repair various props and carts. This year it looks like we will need around 25 to 30 people to help at each contest. Since not everyone is able to attend all contests, we need quite a few more to be willing to help. The pit crew is open to all band parents, family members and friends. it is a great way to meet other band parents and students and make a contribution to the success of each performance.
