Eric suggested this video to me. I never saw combat, thank God, but it hit home pretty hard. Every single day I feel the weight of my M-4 slung so that it could be ready to use at a moments notice. I dont like being alone in the dark, or people sneaking up on me. I have tons of people to interact with, but sometimes Its still like the only ones that I spend time with are SSG Chan, SGT Larson, SPC Johnson, and SPC Aaron Winston.
