Erik Crawley of SPR Backshops is building the Drayton & Southern Railway HO Scale locomotive fleet, which is composed entirely by ex-Southern High Hoods. This locomotive is numbered #2570, after one of the locomotives my Great Grandfather operated on the Southern. I love Genesee & Wyoming, but I also love High Hoods...So I decided to have Erik mix the best of both worlds by creating truly my own, model railroad. The decals, paint, lighting and sound are all being done by SPR Backshops. The sounds used in the decoder are being taken from a REAL GP30 locomotive. The ditchlights will flash when the horn is blown and the sounds are all customized to fit my specifications. Erik does an excellent job and will be doing the rest of my fleet.
