Eskom Promises Early Warning System for Future Black Outs Johannesburg – In the face of national rage after last week’s surprise rolling black outs on Thursday Eskom spokesperson Andrew Etzinger has promised advanced warning should the state power utility need to implement load shedding again this week. According to a report on EWN with more rain scheduled for the next few days Eskom has said it cannot rule out the possibility of further load shedding this week. “We are concerned and we’ll keep the public informed as to how the technicalities of our power stations play out,” said Etzinger. Eskom has also called on South African households and business to use power sparingly in this period of tight supply.
