Especially for Thailand residents, a question about True Move: I bought a new Dongle ten days ago, you know the little gadget that has a modem and simcar built in and you use it to connect your computer to the net via the cellPhone service provide. In my case , True Move. I had some initial hiccups, a faulty sim card, that eitehr only let me connect to Thai websites, or to nothing at all. I finally convinced the manager of my local shop to replace the SIMcard, after her staff demonstrated not sufficient problem solving skills to find teh cause of the problem. But one problem remains. Whenever I access another website, other then some familiar ones, I get shifted to another webpage, which reads as follows ---------------------------------------- Access to the xxxxxx.wordpress will be additionally charged over package. Please select your advice of charge preference to continue browsing or close this browser. ต้องการให้แจ้งเตือนทุกครั้ง Advise every time except xxxxxxxx.wordpress. ต้องการให้แจ้งเตือนทุกครั้ง ยกเว้นเว็บไซต์ xxxxxxxxx.wordpress นี้ Do not advise. ไม่ต้องการให้แจ้งเตือน --------------------------------------------------- Well, the website here is irreLevant, and the three choices have button to select them, at teh bottom is a GO button to press. Most of the time if I agree with teh first statement, all the time it will take me through> Sometiems the aditional charge statement will carry over on the next webpage, like when I ty access LinkedIn. Anyone know what is happening here? Anyone else epeience the same? Am I naive? or just stupid? My understanding of the WWW is that it is free. Is True move now charging m extra for certain websites? WTF!
