Establishment of an overseas language study system for employees centered around candidates for overseas postings～ Supporting employees posted overseas with a rich language training programme～ TSUNEISHI GROUP (Headquarters: Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture) which is expanding its business globally to the Philippines, China, Singapore, and Paraguay has established an overseas language study system for employees centered around candidates for overseas postings so that they can feel relaxed about going overseas and smoothly communicate with the local staff after having understood about the different cultures. The training takes place on Cebu in the Philippines, and allows the employees to study a wide range of English from total beginner to mid- and high-level and also business English. Centered around candidates for overseas postings, employees can spend up to four months studying English overseas at a school selected by the company. One of the employees that has taken advantage of the programme, Mr. Kazuki Maeda, said that after spending two months studying, he felt that his English ability had greatly improved from when he started the training, and that his thoughts about studying English had changed 180 degrees, and further added that he would continue to study on his own after the programme ended so that he wouldn’t waste the experience. In addition to the overseas language study system, the TSUNEISHI GROUP also organizes in-house basic English classes, English conversation classes, on-line English conversation classes, and regular opportunities to take the TOEIC IP test at the company. We are supporting our employees so that they can go on and be even more active on the global stage.
