Esther Anuhya, a TCS employee, takes a train from Vijayawada to Mumbai on the 4th of Jan, returning to work. Doesnt reach Mumbai. Friends and family trace her charred body on the 16th in Mumbai ...based on a last signal found in the area. Walking on the streets...going in a bus ...taking a train...we are done with all of them..........No words again.... A mail from her friend detailing the tragic incident: Name: Esther Anuya Singavarapu. D/o: Mr. SJS Prasad Age: 23 years, Height: 5 3 Profession: Software Engineer with TCS Boarded Train: TRAIN NO: 18519, LTT EXP in VIJAYAWADA on 4-1-2014 7 A.M (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express). She was travelling in Coach S-5 berth 47 Complaint given in Vijayawada railway police station.....as Mumbai Kurla Railway police said that they cannot take the complaint there.... She was supposed to reach Mumbai on 5th January at 5.10 am, but her father got a call from the hostel (YWCA Hostel) saying that she didn’t come to hostel yet.....The father was trying to call her on both her numbers but there was no response. Both her Numbers got switched off at around 15.15 pm on 5th January.....we got information from BSNL and AIRTEL that both the numbers got switched off at the same time and the signal was traced to an area called BHANDUP in Mumbai. All the information was passed to Mumbai Police as they didnt take the complaint on 5th January......they started to act only from 6th January once a FAX message was sent to the Mumbai Commissioner from the HYDERABAD Commissioner..... The police got hold of the people who traveled in the same coach with her...the co passengers mentioned that she reached Mumbai and she alighted at Kurla LTT on 5th January at 5.10....The Kurla police who are investigating the case mentioned that they couldnt find anything in Bhandup where her cell phone last received the signal.....For the last 11 days the search was going on and the Mumbai police dept mentioned that they couldnt find any trace.....In between they mentioned that one of the cell phones signal was traced to a red light are called Kamathipura, but later they mentioned that it was wrong info that they received.... Yesterday on 16th January 2014, one of the cousins along with 7 other family members started searching for some trace in Bhandup as it was the area where her phone got switched off and at around 6.45 pm in the evening, they found highly decomposed half-burnt dead body....The father identified the dead body after seeing the ring her hand.....8 family members were able to find the dead body in a day......we dont know when the crime was committed.....we dont know who did it......the culprits are still out there.....and they burnt the girl to kill all the evidence......The postmortem will be done today to know the exact cause and time of death......”
