Ethnic food-cooking friends: I went to Penzeys and asked for the most painfully spicy dried chili peppers. They sent me home with 70,000 heat unit Piquins. I made baingan bharta for dinner tonight and used a LOT of the peppers and seeds, and it just tastes like I added sriracha (which is more sweet than spicy to me). Maybe my mistake was going to Penzeys instead of Asia Mart, but what would you recommend for really heating up my Asian dishes?
