Eto yung nakakabuwisit na commercial sa mga sinehan bago ipalabas ang pelikula. Haha! ***** To MTRCB, may you find it in your precious little hearts to please remove this video advertisement in every cinema? Not only is it annoying, it’s stupid. It’s not even a mediocre advertisement, it’s stupid. Points could’ve been clearer, video could’ve been a lot less shorter, scenario could’ve shown at least aspects of intelligence, cleverness, comedy etc to make it interesting.. This video showed none. Here are some of my gripes: **Dad - When asked by his wife on what he wants to watch he said R-18 sana out loud. You brought your whole family to a cinema then suggest a movie not suitable for children? What’s your next plan, abandon them? Tell them to wait? And saying it out loud made it even better.. Go on kids feel bad about yourselves. Feel the guilt and be burdened that Dad can’t get what he wants because of you. This retard is very inconsiderate. **Mom - They say that if Men don’t have the ideal personality to win a woman’s heart, maybe his brain or looks might suffice.. Her Husband has none of the above.. You may say some Nerds are attractive. How can he be a nerd if not a genius? Clothes and glasses emphasized the Dad’s character as a nerd but lacked the intellect so no, I don’t consider the Dad as a nerd. He’s just a dumbass. Judging by their clever Yaya/Maid/Helper being in uniform, the family’s wealthy.. Money.. The only reason I could think of why women get attracted to dumbass boys. And when the whole family’s having a hard time deciding what to watch due to stupidity, guess who did the mom ask? Whose desire is it she’s willing to put on before her sons’ and daughters’ wants? That’s right, her genius Husband. I therefore conclude that this mom is a gold digger. **Brother – Judging by the way he dress and looks, he’s following the footsteps of his father. Way to go boy. **Sister- Questioned already by the ticket lady regarding her age yet she still insisted with her false age. If that wasn’t bad enough, she told lies while her Dad was beside her. Of course, genius Dad didn’t do shit. A lying spoiled brat. **Atty Chairman (fat dude speaking at the end)- I’m pretty sure casting arent short notice nor last minute.. How hard is it to memorize a few freaking lines?? Busy drinking? May pa zoom-in zoom-out pa lalo tuloy halatang nagbabasa si manong ng line sa camera.. *facepalm **CGI/Fake Balloon – why? If you haven’t seen the advertisement being shown before every movie, watch at your own risk. These are two and a half minute of your life that you’ll never get back: youtube/watch?v=j1PH5fqpq08 Para sa matalinong panonood ng pamilyang Juan at Juana. #morefuninthephilippines ******************************************************** Edited/Added items from my comments (encore): **Content - Employees informed the eccentric family on what they’re allowed to watch as guidelines for us viewers. Sinabi kung ano yung pwede at bawal pero hindi inexplain kung bakit. Yun na yon. Phrases such as “not suitable for children yan dahil brutal, nakakatakot, may mura, may monster, may bold etc” would’ve been helpful. They chose the slow paced/dumb-ang-viewers representation yet andami pa rin kulang. **Brother – Angry Bird. What a way to solidify your manliness by screaming at your sister. **Yaya/Maid/Helper – Asgardian. Laki na ni baby buhat niya pa din. **Atty Chairman – ok I was rude for assuming he’s a drinker. Also he’s not an actor kaya im sorry po - My point of view is, media is a way of educating the masa sige. Let me share a short story, may group of squatter. Every election, may pera na inaabot para iboto nila yung nagabot. tanggap and then boto. im sure its not an unusual story d ba? anyway those who are influential (such as this ad) dictate a spoon fed/slow paced/dumb-ang-audience type of representation and maintain it that way. Why? The less they know the better? My point is, why not properly educate them? Perhaps para more gullible? Im simply suggesting since their actions are stronger than ours, their voice is louder than ours and what they show attract more viewers than what we attempt, then sana naman i-educate nila ng maayos. - Since viral, NOTE that I was referring to the Characters! The roles not its actors hence I used the term Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother, Yaya.. kala ko obvious na apparently hindi pala.. - Sa mga nagsasabi na dami ko alam bat hindi ako gumawa. Imagine yourself going inside a famous restaurant. Food you ate was bad then you complained to the Chef. Would the Chef say “ikaw kaya magluto dito?” you yourselves have rants with the government. Would you suggest electing yourselves? See the logic? - Last, my favorite comment: “we shouldnt be okay with this. The Filipino deserves more. Think about it. The more we spoon-feed our kababayans with this nonsense, the more they will become it. Remember, what you think, you eventually become. Again, we deserve so much more than this. I think the Filipino is incredibly talented in so many ways and there are so many untapped-potentials here. So why should we settle with this kind of ad? Because its comfortable? Because its what were used to? Nope. Thats backward thinking. Well never get anywhere. And no good sir, this is not a positive way to show MTRCB ratings! Filipinos know better I think. This ad is a waste of money and space. Its about time we changed it.” – Nicollo Lopez
