Even the No camp believe that Scotland would be a prosperous - TopicsExpress

Even the No camp believe that Scotland would be a prosperous independent country, so there isn’t even an argument to have about the finances of an independent Scotland. Ridiculous stories about increasing supermarket prices (ridiculous because prices are increasing all the time, regardless) is an example of ‘squabble fodder’ designed to instil fear into the electorate, a tactic used in the absence of a socially acceptable argument. The truth is, both sides agree that Scotland would be prosperous on its own. So why then are we being told about financial doom and gloom, about fluctuating share prices, oil prices and supermarket prices (for goodness sake!)? It’s cloak and dagger stuff from the No camp (and the overtly biased BBC news). It’s not so we will be better off that we’re being implored to vote No. The No campaign (and the BBC’s biased agenda) is driven by a desire to protect the political powers of Westminster and London over the nation of Scotland. This debate isn’t about money - Scotland will be home and hosed when it all settles down a few years after the Yes vote - this debate is about political control and for the people of Scotland, its centrally about social justice. The No camp can’t publicly argue that they want to control Scotland so instead their campaign IS based on scaremongering, its based on the proliferation of ’squabble fodder’ designed to detract in the only socially acceptable way possible from the positive message of Yes. People are absolutely free to vote either way, so lets be clear about what we’re voting for. A vote for No is in favour of Westminster retaining control over Scotland, a vote for Yes is in favour of democracy for Scotland. #VoteYes
