Even the best laid plans can still be upset by unforeseen injection of reality. For some it may be an unannounced visitor, or sudden trip out of town. For others perhaps it is the arrival of a roof leak or flat tire while driving. No matter what the situation may be, reality happens and often forces us to alter our plans. For too many, the reality comes in the form of three simple words; you have cancer. Plans change for everyone involved in such circumstances. They reach out to touch nearly everyone of us. They are the stimulus behind why so many of us Relay. When you make plans to fundraise, to participate in events, to talk to someone that may want to start a team, unexpected obstacles are likely to pop up.
