Even though I agree with this decision and all, just where the hell does all of this money come from? Today, apparently President Obama has pledged that he is supporting to stop wildlife crime and trafficking in Africa. Also, he has pledged a Presidential Task Force on Wildlife Trafficking, and what is said to be a critical $10 million dollar pledge to improve protection for threatened wildlife populations in key African countries. As I said, I love this decision, but yet, I am bothered by it. I personally love animals of all kinds, and hate those that poach any wildlife at all. I hunt and fish myself, and those that do responsibly are fine and take what they need are good. However, killing something just because you can or to sell pieces or because it might be worth something on a Japanese market because it might be rumored to make them dick strong, no way. Our country here has been hit with what is called the Sequester. Where programs that affect Meals on Wheels for seniors are cut, Head Start programs cut, Tours at the White House - the People’s House - stopped! And so much more! Here President Obama is, $100 Million trip just for his security and travel to Africa. Now $10 million pledged on top of that through Executive Order according to an email I have from World Wildlife Fund. Just when is he going to stop spending our money like it is his personal do gooder checkbook? If he wants to spend so much money doing good things, help veterans old and new, put people back to work, lower our taxes instead of finding bullshit ways of raising them, fix all of our roads and bridges, and that list can go on forever too.
