Even though Ive been off the job market for over a year, I still get e-mails from recruiters on a fairly regular basis. Most of them arent jobs I would have been interested in even were I looking for a job, such as the one I got today which was for a 6-month contract position in SD/NE that dealt mostly with duties outside of my areas of expertise. But the opening sentence did catch my eye: Please find the give below urgent requirement with our client. Tempted to write them back and say that Im not interested in their job, but I do know people looking for work as proofreaders and copyeditors that Id be happy to put them in touch with.
